Happy summer!
Due to a scheduling conflict, I have to adjust the First-of-Month Bird Walk dates for both August and September. August’s Bird Walk will be held out at Steigerwald Lake NWR on Wednesday, August 3rd. I hope you can join us! This will give us an opportunity to enjoy the refuge together before it closes again for two months for additional habitat and trail work starting August 8th.
Early fall migration is starting! Randy has added a field trip for August 14th in the Vancouver Lowlands, hoping to catch sight of a few of our early migrants as well as our resident birds, details found on the field trip page.
