The Portland Audubon Society sets the date and the established circle includes Sauvie Island on the Oregon side and Ridgefield NWR, Vancouver Lake area, and the areas of Burnt Bridge and Salmon Creeks that fall within the 15 mile radius of the circle. BIRDATHON
Vancouver Audubon's annual fund raiser takes place in early May. You are invited to join in the fun and process of counting species in the Clark County area. We count birds during the set weekend. Forms and checklist are available on-line near the count weekend. Members, friends and relatives of VAS members pledge monies per specie or a set amount. The money helps keep Vancouver Audubon going and helps support education and conservation in the Clark County area. Sherry Hagen is the coordinator of the Birdathon.

For general or donation information on the Birdathon, you can contact Sherry at 360-892-8872 or email:  littlebirder@comcast.net   or   vas@pacifier.com
